Previously an Army Blackhawk Maintenance Test Pilot and Commander, I understand the dedication and attention to detail required to fly an aircraft and to build timeless pieces of furniture.
As a one-woman shop, I design and build each custom piece. Specializing in solid wood and artisan-grade concrete, I often combine the two disparate materials, creating a harmony that is reflective of my process and collaborative style.
While most of today’s manufacturing is built around planned obsolescence, permanence, integrity, and craftsmanship are at the core of my furniture. I respect my materials, stay true to their nature, understand their imperfections, utilize their structural abilities, and embrace their aesthetic resonance.
Working in partnership with my clients, furniture is uniquely designed and built to fit both space and lifestyle. No piece is identical to the next. Each reflects the care, craftsmanship, and quality required for it to last for generations.
