2025 Artisans Studio Tour Applications

Artisans who would like to apply for the 2025 Tour can find links to application forms here in March 2025.

There are several ways to qualify for Tour participation.

Virginia artisans who have not exhibited on the Tour before and have been accepted into an ACC show, the Smithsonian show, or the Richmond Craft + Design show within the last 3 years are exempt from our jury process. We consider your work acceptable due to the juries you have been accepted through.

New artisans who are not exempted from our jury will submit a jury application by April 6, 2025.

Once juried in, or joining us through a jury exemption, returning artisans are eligible to rejoin the Tour each year. However, if it has been more than 5 years since your last participation on the Tour, we ask you to re-apply through the jury or jury-exemption process as a new artisan.

Returning and jury-exempt artisans should turn in forms, $400 payment, and all required materials by June 2, 2025.

Emerging artisan program:
Our goal is to encourage and support emerging artisans on their path to becoming professional. We consider an Emerging Artisan to be someone who is 18 years of age or older, has been in business for less than three years, is far into the development of their work, is planning on being a professional artisan, has little show experience, and has been invited by a current exhibiting tour artisan. We look forward to having you join us and supporting your growth!
