Kirk McCauley's lifelong love for the outdoors and nature comes to life in his hand turned wooden artwork. A love for wood and its natural beauty can be found in each original wood creation. Kirk was born and raised in central Virginia and has lived in North Garden for over 30 years. It is in North Garden that Kirk pursues his passion for wood turning. All his wooden creations are handmade originals. Kirk is presently working with wood from the grounds of Monticello, the home of Thomas Jefferson, and the University of Virginia Lawn and grounds, as well as Stratford Hall, home of Robert E. Lee. Being a member of Central Virginia Woodturners and The American Association of Woodturners has helped bring a professional look to his wood art.
